Sutter Solano Charitable Foundation (SSCF) is charged with meeting the growing needs of two Sutter Health affiliates in Solano County: Sutter Solano Medical Center (SSMC), a 102-bed acute care hospital in Vallejo and Sutter Medical Foundation, West Division (“SMF West”) with care centers in Fairfield, Vacaville, Vallejo and Rio Vista.

These two Sutter affiliates enhance the health and well-being of the people in the communities they serve and depend on philanthropy to help fund comprehensive health care programs, services for under-served patients, and capital projects like cutting-edge technology and new facilities.

While Sutter administrators work hard to make their money stretch as far as they can, there is invariably a gap between what is needed and what the budgets can provide. The generosity of individuals and corporate donors is invaluable to helping to bridge that gap.
