Heart of Sutter - Sutter Solano Medical Center's Employee Giving Campaign
The Heart of Sutter is Sutter Solano Medical Center’s Employee Giving Campaign and was established as an emergency fund to provide support to fellow employees and patients who are facing extreme hardships.
Recent examples of individuals who have received help from the Heart of Sutter include a patient transitioning from homelessness to housing, a family short on funds to cover the cost of funeral expenses for a loved one who passed at SSMC, and a terminally ill cancer patient who couldn’t afford the medical device necessary to manage his pain.
Gifts from SSMC employees are among the most meaningful gifts an organization can receive, signaling to the community employee support of patients and colleagues beyond all that they do day-to-day in their jobs.
How to Give

As an employee, you may designate your gift to benefit one of the following funds:
Heart of Sutter Fund – This fund assists SSMC employees and patients who have experienced recent hardship and are in need of short-term financial assistance. The grants awarded to employees and patients do not need to be repaid.
Community Healthcare Fund – This fund is for Community Healthcare programs that benefit both SSMC & Sutter Medical Foundation, West Division. They include survivorship programs for cancer patients, and diabetes education programs.
Area of Greatest Need– This fund will apply your gift to where the need is greatest at SSMC.
